Speaking in the signing ceremony of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Chief Executive of TEJARAT BANK Moqaddam announced the above statement and emphasized: “TEJARAT BANK is ready to cooperate with the National Cancer Control Charity Foundation consecutively.”

In the same direction, the bank will disseminate necessary information in order to prevent and control cancer using various media and communication channels, he said, adding: “Moreover, the bank will embark on attracting public contrbutions in this regard.”

It should be noted that this prestigious ceremony was held at the Central Building of TEJARAT BANK on Monday Aug. 14.

The bank’s website, Automated Teller Machine (ATM), urban installed TVs and also TVs installed within the branches coupled with other media of the bank are able to provide the necessary guidance and training services for employees, customers and general public in particular.

Moreover, TEJARAT BANK can also attract charities from Iranians residing abroad through its Paris Business Branch.

In the end, he said: “Relying upon the assistance of the Almighty God, the bank will materialize most of its economic objectives by the yearend.”

Dr. Masjedi Managing Director of National Cancer Control Charity Foundation was the next speaker who pointed to the main cause of cancer such as unhealthy nutrition, smoking cigarettes, abusing alcohol and low levels of physical activity and said: “Raising awareness of staff, personnel and clients of this bank as well as all walks of life on the risk of cancer is the main objective behind conclusion of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).”

Accordingly, the three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed and sealed by the Chief Executive of TEJARAT BANK and Dr. Masjedi Managing Director of National Cancer Control Charity Foundation.

Moreover working together to compile and develop educational contents for familiarizing people with a variety of cancer diseases and prevention and control methods, it was stipulated that necessary grounds will be provided to attract support of charitable and public contributions.

In this regard, TEJARAT BANK will take giant strides for introducing the Foundation and its activities using dissemination of information services coupled with providing necessary grounds (via branch, internet, Mobile Bank, etc.) for collecting cash contributions. 

Designing incentive packages in order to encourage and develop culture of participation among all walks of life in society in supporting the Foundation’s programs, planning and policy setting to promote culture of health in the country using educational content are of the other salient programs reiterated in this Memorandum of Understanding.
